Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is involved when you use the NV oOS Gateway plugin ("the Plugin") in ChatGPT or Codex. The Plugin is published by NV Digital Solutions ("we", "us") and connects to the NV oOS MCP Gateway at mcp.nvoos.pro ("the gateway"), which fronts the public NV oOS demo site ("the demo site").
1. What the Plugin is
The Plugin lets ChatGPT or Codex call tools on the gateway — a public, fleet-scoped endpoint operated by us. It exposes the public demo site's tools with demo_ prefixed names (environment status, deep research, and the content and store tools the demo operator exposes). The Plugin itself runs no server and stores nothing.
2. Data involved when you use the Plugin
- OAuth consent. When you link the Plugin, you are redirected to our identity provider (Auth0, operated by Auth0 Inc.) to sign in and consent. The gateway validates the issued access token on every call. Auth0's privacy practices apply to the sign-in step.
- Prompts and tool inputs. The messages and tool arguments you send in ChatGPT or Codex are transmitted to the gateway so your requests can be fulfilled. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to your conversation with ChatGPT or Codex.
- Tool responses. The gateway returns the demo site's public data and reports. Responses may include site metadata and demo content; they do not include other users' private messages, emails, credentials, or private client sites.
- Request metadata. The gateway processes standard request metadata (IP-derived country for policy decisions, rate-limit counters, access logs) to enforce its policy and quota rules.
3. How data is used
Data is used solely to fulfil your requests: authenticate the connection, enforce the gateway's per-site scoping, rate limits, and policy rules, execute the tool calls you make, and return their results to ChatGPT or Codex. We do not sell personal data and do not use Plugin data for advertising.
4. Storage and retention
- The Plugin stores no personal data.
- The gateway is stateless: it keeps operational logs and rate-limit counters only, retained per our operational retention period.
- The demo site is a WordPress site operated by us; it processes and retains data according to its own data practices, available on the demo site itself.
- Auth0 stores identity and sign-in information according to its own policies and our tenant configuration.
- OpenAI processes your ChatGPT or Codex conversation according to OpenAI's policies.
5. Sharing
We do not share Plugin data with third parties except the service providers necessary to operate it (our hosting, identity provider Auth0, and OpenAI, which operates the ChatGPT and Codex surfaces).
6. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict processing. To exercise them, contact us through the support channel below.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the Plugin evolves. The "Last updated" date above indicates the current version.
